Who is Alfonso Verduzco?

Alfonso Verduzco is a visionary designer who masterfully blends art and luxury in his creations. With extensive training in Milan at some of the top Italian brands—Minotti, B&B Italia, Poliform, and Flexform—Alfonso refined his craft and deepened his admiration for high-end design by visiting their factories. His frequent visits to Salone del Mobile opened his eyes to a new level of creativity, inspiring him to push the boundaries of elegance in his work.

This experience has allowed Alfonso to leave his creative imprint on prestigious residences in exclusive destinations like Aspen, Bozeman, Beverly Hills, BelAir, and Paradise Valley. His “Raíces Black Collection,” which celebrates the exceptional artistry of Mexican artisans working with Oaxaca’s black clay, has garnered widespread recognition and awards, including the 2022 ICFF + Wanted Design Manhattan Best Materials Editors Award and the Iconic Design Award for excellence in Product Design.
